At Saltfish, we are delighted to offer an abundance of mouth-watering seafood & non-seafood dishes from our set menu, à la carte menu, fresh fish specials board and charcoal grilled fish selection. Indulge yourself with our stunning seafood platter and freshly shucked oysters at the bar, or simply unwind with friends and loved ones with tea, coffee and sweet treats.

We have curated a wine list celebrating independent winemakers that shows maximum respect for the environment, importance of terroir, indigenous grapes, diversity and organic viticulture, but above all, wines of character that showcases the winemaker’s hardy souls.

The restaurant opening times are Monday to Saturday 8am-10:30am, 12pm-2:30pm & 5pm-10pm (last food order 8:45). On Sundays, we open for breakfast at 8am-10:30pm and our lunch time service is 12pm-5pm. Our bar is open from 8am until close serving teas & coffees and bar snacks from 12pm. Booking a table is not always required but we do advise you to book on a weekend. You can also opt to dine in our bar area. In addition we cater for large parties and events and have celebrated many weddings, birthdays, anniverseries and more here. Our eight guest bedrooms make Houndgate Townhouse the perfect venue.
